Getting Started

Crown Green Bowls is a Sport for all Ages, a sport that can and will provide many years of enjoyment and interest to all players. Whether that interest remains purely at Club level or expands into County or even National level, the aim is the same
All the family can play Crown Green Bowls, from grandchildren to grandparents and it is a great sport for making new friends. It is a non-contact sport which is enjoyed by all, including people with disabilities.


 

Kit you'll need

No need to buy any equipment initially as you will be able to borrow from the club.  There will be rules regarding clothing and footwear so ask when you first visit your local club.


 

What's Good

Bowls can really claim to appeal to all ages and is a sport you can keep up throughout your life.  Bowls is both competitive and sociable and you are bound to be able to find a club near you.
